Indians, along with east Asians.. generally get a good wrap, have a good rep in the US. The screening process for even tourist visas is pretty rigorous. Indian immigrants are a high income group generally too. Doctors, or hard working 7/11 Apu types.. a lot of software coolies and some software gurus and bosses.. the whole gamut, decent bunch.

US gets the best Indians too, UK/Canada.. that lot can be kinda sketchy.

Low key, docile, hardworking, law fearing, save a lot, big on education and assimilation.

They invest in the native economy. Buy longterm immovable assets like homes. Signifying that they are there for the long haul.

They do not run gangs.

They do not fill prisons.

They do not start race riots.

They do not groom underage white girls.

They do not plant bombs in cars parked in shopping malls.

They do not crack the skulls of LEA Officers in airports.

Yaar the per capita in Mexico is $12,000 today. Why do they still run to the US in droves?

I worked with a Mexican engineer at my last job. A fairly kool dude with a level head. He told me that this narco/ gang banger drama is segregated in certain regions of mehico only. Not everywhere.

Mehico is a beautiful place. Lot of hillbillay go retire over there and enjoy a good time/ food/ drink local culture.

Spanish is easy to learn and the Mexicans are good friendly people.

Indian immigrants tend to be from good backgrounds (richer) from home.

Sadly we Pakistanis have exported trash. But that's really for the UK where the Queen made a deal for the Mirpuris and we accepted.

Outside of the UK/Europe our immigrants are better.

Although I have met some decent ones from the UK, but as well are those ones that are incapable of letting their "culture" go. Somehow more religious then people back home. But I have never visited Mirpur so cannot say.
