Azerbaijani media publish footage of Armenian Armed Forces movements near the border
Footage of the movement and accumulation of units of the Armenian Armed Forces near the border with Azerbaijan appeared on the network. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Azerbaijani media.
"On the conditional border of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the movement of the Armenian army is observed. The Armenian side is concentrating forces near the border in the direction of Zangezur," the Azerbaijani media reported.
The Zangezur region is located in the Syunik region of Armenia, which separates Azerbaijan and its exclave, the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. At the moment, no comments have been received from the Armenian side or the Armenian media.
Prior to that, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accused the European Union, the United States and Armenia of wanting to isolate Baku.
On Friday, April 5, the head of the republic held talks with the head of the Turkish delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
Also on April 5, the head of the European Commission announced the association's plans to provide Armenia with several grants totaling €270 million.
Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the trilateral meeting of the EU, the United States and Armenia.
