Most of the top leaders of the BNP Standing Committee consider the talk of boycotting Indian products to be an expression of social media agitation and common people's anger. The leaders of the party feel that the common people are angry with India's behavior for various reasons. Out of that anger they have called for a boycott of Indian products.

But it is not an organized movement. Rather, it is a social movement. It will not be right for BNP to be in state power again and again and in the future as a power-seeking party to be associated with this movement.

Some of the top leaders of the party expressed this attitude when the discussion started on whether it would be right to join the party on the call of boycott of Indian products or not. A leader of BNP present in the meeting said that the debt was discussed for a short time. But no decision was made. In yesterday's meeting, the main discussion was about whether BNP should participate in the upazila elections or not.

This leader said that the final decision in this regard will be informed to the leaders and workers of the party in the next meeting.

A source present at the meeting said that the discussion on the boycott of Indian products mainly started with an action by the party's senior joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed. In the meeting, a leader asked if Rizvi's announcement of boycotting Indian products was a party decision. And if the decision is made, where did it happen? However, the acting chairman of the party said in the meeting that this is personal. Not a party decision.

The three leaders then spoke about why BNP as a party should not join such a movement. They said BNP has been in power many times. The party state will come to power in the future as well. There can be no reason for partisan entanglement with common people's anger against India. Because if the BNP comes to power in the future, how will the relationship with the neighboring country be determined!

এতক্ষণে অরিন্দম কহিলা বিষাদে, জানিনু কেমনে আসি লক্ষণ পশিল রক্ষঃপুরে! 🤣

So BNP , the pioneer of democracy ( self professed) isn't with the public boycott of Indian products! Do they actually care about public centiment? I don't think so! 🤔

I told you so. Rizvi is just an employee who doesn't run BNP policies. They still want India to back them but even India wants it, China already has a deep pocket there. Money talks at the end of the day. Phone calls alone are not enough.

@Old School bhai, I understand it, but what about our devoted BNP fellows? No one can convince them! 🤔
According to BNP supporters, Hasina is taking money ( economy) from China but is loyal to India due to blood connections !! if that is true, then Hasina has more moral principles than others. Don't you see brothers kill brothers for money-related disputes? In fact, these fools are giving Hasina some compliments that She cares more about Indian blood relations/ideology than money from China. Everyone knows that China has the largest investments in Bangladesh; they are also Bangladesh's largest business partner.
On the other hand, China is then a fool because knowing Hasina is loyal to India, they are supporting her with money and PR every day, instead of supporting BNP, who in turn supported Taiwan !! If Hasina is morally that much loyal to India , why would then India replace Hasina with BNP, which is responsible for transferring weapons to Indian rebels? Does it make sense? It makes sense for Pee-Naki followers, though.
