IAF official has said that upgraded super sukhoi with gallium nitrate based radar will detect A35A from a long distance and neutralize its stealth advantage. It will fire Astra MK 3 from a distance of over 300 km totally outclassing the range of China's PL 15. Virupaksha with 2400 TR modules will be a very powerful radar with a detection range of over 400 km. it will be able to see the J 35A from a distance beyond 300 km and will fire Gandiv AK Astra mk 3 from a distance of over 300 km out matching totally range of Chinese PL 20 missile puting it into no escape zone much prior to J35 a can closer to fire PL 15.

Many technologies developed for the advance medium and compact aircraft will go into sukhoi upgraded name super sukhoi. virupakshara will be a gallenium nitrate based very powerful radar which will have the capability to detect the aircraft up to a distance of over 400 km and will work like a mini awacs with an ability to detect the so called 5th generation fighters of China like J35A. Recently, J 35"s data was stolen and one official from Pakistan was blamed for that. Now, after that incident one Indian official has said that super super will be more than a match for Pakistan J 35A. It will detect the Pakistani J35A from a distance of over 300 km totally neutralizing the stealth advantage of J35A . It will be able to fire Astra mkIII AKA Gandiv from a distance beyond distance from where J35 a can fire Chinese PL 15. While the US gives primary importance to the Stealth , Russia gives the importers to maneuverability , aerodynamics and powerful radar which can even detect stealth from a distance of over 300 k.m. Russian planes are generally twin engine fighters with very big nose cone to accommodate huge radar which can detect stealth fighter for a long distance. Many of you might have read the news that Su 30 flying over Tezpur had detected J20 form a very long distance. Now we are equiping MKI with 2400 TR module AESA radar with ultra long range. It should not be difficult at all for the SU 30 MKI with 2400 TR module of galenium nitrate to detect J35 and J20 like fighter jets from a distance of over 300 km and fire asthra MK3 with 340 km range. J20 and J35 will have to come at least 100 KM closer to fire PL15 missile towards 30MKI
