I believe all the commie bots on the other forum are pretty level headed. None of them advocate total mutual nuke annihilation.

Irani guys at the other forum are equally sane, with an exception or two. Most know and clearly acknowledge where they stand. However with the recent Iranian thrashing of Israel and evidently the shameless rubbishing of much vaunted western technology, even then the Iranians are not boasting about it much.

I donโ€™t believe the Iranians are suicidal, but they are just pig headed, driven and imperialist in character which puts them into conflict with the western powers.

The shah had everything or anything at his disposal, yet he was driven out!

It is okay. Sometimes it is better to wait for the right time. Only a fool would rush in with a hammer where other options can be more useful in the shorter term. Why solve the Iran issue quickly when scaring the rest of the rich countries into following US direction, for example, is more fruitful for the time being?

(But then again, removing others' ignorance is not my problem. I left the other forum precisely for this reason. It is a cesspool of rabid IRGC zealots and commiebots, and not much else. :D )
True, Trump's not even if office proper yet. As you said the other day, a LOT can happen in 4 years time, and I strongly suspect it will.

He'd been saying it on the trail for months, about how conflict resolution and putting an end to the wars will be high on his priority list. House, senate iski hain.. he's back, more powerful than ever before.

I'm cautiously optimistic about him doing the right thing, time will tell.

@Lulldapull to much mat kar bhai, this is getting to be quite cringe now, your cheerleading for the mullahs and IRGC. All your questions will be answered, quickly, should conflict break out in earnest. Let us hope it doesn't.

As I say oftentimes, let us wait and see. Iran will get what it deserves, just like any other nation following its national interests, for better, and for worse. What's the rush?

Do you think that the Axis of Resistance (Iran, North Korea, Russia, and China) could put a dent in the US led world order?

Russia and China are pretty powerful. Having a North Korean state that could reach the west with nukes and Iran with its oil makes for a pretty formidable group.

Of course, they can try as they want. The better team will win, as always. Who knows who it might be in this contest, but I have an idea who it is likely to be.

Agree ๐Ÿ‘

If only it wasn't for this still ongoing Gezza clusterfudge of a situation that is making the prospects of a lasting peace deal increasingly untenable by the day.

Call me crazy, but I think Trump is still the man to git'r-dun.

Dekho kya hota hai...

I'm still sanguine on it all, needle hasn't moved much..

No one is going to nuke anybody.

The grouping you mentioned will actually do a great job of keeping the Americans honest and planted in radioactive reality.

Much as the Soviet Union did through the first Cold War.

This, the second, will be even more balanced.

And multipolar.

Not unlikely a nuclear war where 90% of the human race is wiped out occurs.
