IRGC Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi was among the dead in a Damascus airstrike.
Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been killed in an Israeli airstrike on Damascus, Syria.
The Monday attack destroyed a building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus, killing at least six people, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). Iranian media identified the building as the Iranian consulate and the ambassador's residence. Iran's Tasnim News Agency identified Zahedi, a senior commander in the IRGC's Quds Force, as being among the dead. His deputy was reportedly killed as well.

Its a fair bet that Iran's killed well over 2,000 Israeli's over the last few months, and between hezb and Hamas/ PIJ it continues to kill or injure a dozen Israeli's daily. I believe if Iran keeps up da full pressure using ghareeb/ badbakht muzlim toady's then sooner or later the Israeli's will be confronting that same situation as the Pretoria regime in South Africa was facing back in the late 1980's........ .......I mean, its so easy no?

This is exactly what Israel wants, so that they can carry out extensive strikes in mainland Iran and get the USA involved. All Israeli airstrike on Iranian officials is designed provocation for a wider war. However, Iran has been getting too many hits while playing strategic restrains. There has to be some kind of response which will act as a deterrent to future Israeli attacks.
