A Liberal Party of Canada committee voted unanimously on Friday to disqualify former MP Ruby Dhalla from the race to be the next leader.

Azam Ishmael, the party's national director, said in a statement that the Liberal leadership vote committee determined she made 10 violations, some involving the party's leadership and expense rules.

"The decision followed an extensive process and review, including interviews, questionnaires and an opportunity for Dr. Dhalla to directly address the committees," he said. @Saif @Bilal9

Our interest is generally to ensure at least a government which is nor inimical to India. Pakistan did a lot of lobbying by bribing US and other western nations. Every nation does that. We too do that, but our intension is to just protect Indian and Indian origin people interest. Our contribution to any of the nation we are present is great. However, if that particular government act against India's interest, Indian diaspora will oppose that in the framework of that nation.
