States need to get their act together and not becoming migrant breeding grounds.

I like the American system a lot more in this regard. That requires you to jump through quite some hoops when you shift state.

Not acquainted with the murrican system but it makes sense. One shouldn't be able to willy-nilly pack their bags and head to wherever on hope ki kuch ho jayega.

The states have a lot more power in the US.

They have their own certification and licensure.

Haan, udhar common hai.. "the feds" they call em, and are generally unwelcome in state matters.

Idhar sab kuch centre (our feds) do, there is some leeway afforded to states but nothing like the US.
