I believe Schumer is playing it smart here by making it appear that he is for Palestine. His main goal, as per his speech, is to allow the normalization of Arab states with Israel after Netanyahu does his job of expanding the Israeli state. He supports Zionism regardless of what he says as his end goals are the same.

Schumer is no different than most GCC countries our compromised leaders. All complicit in going along with this. Saudi’s particularly somehow cared about who would rule their southern neighbor and killed tens of thousands while not caring what happens north and west of them and focusing while a few of the GCC countries became friends with Netanyahu as if the Israel occupation never happened.
