We demonstrated how saturation attack can be countered at low coast without using costly systems. A system which can handle 200 drones simultaneously is in making. Laser, EW and low cost Bhargavastra sort of missile is the future. Air warfare is completely changing. There is a little foot print of war 3 to 4 decades ago. Dog fight has almost gone. It is going to be BVR fights only.

Yes, but BVR fights also allow for a bigger escape envelopes.

Also, not every aerial fight is between fighter vs fighter.. you could be tasked with taking out helos, refueller tankers, cargo and transport, or to intercept a stray small plane where you need visual confirmation.. why waste mehengi mehengi missiles for small things ?
