5 months later, and after all the death/destruction on Gazans, where the dead are the lucky ones. The ones left alive are orphan, or hungry, homeless, and have no care and living like rats, what exactly what Hamas' point in doing this on Oct 7th. Did they miscalculate, did they think more of their neighbors would rise up and instead South Africa and Venezuela did?
Hamas achievement:
- broke for at least a few decades Israel's closeness to the selfish GCC
- Exposed the spinelessness of every strongman nation (Egypt, Jordan and all the way down the Gulf)
- Reduced the economic growth in Israel and added to the deficit
- Reduced Israel's labor pool by getting it to focus on the war
- Showed that Houthis can power project all the way to Israel
- Refreshed in the current generation around the world the history of the Israel Palestine conflict
But beyond that , what have they achieved militarily. Even the nusance value of attacking with their rockets, that caused minimal physical damage is gone.
Were the lives of the living dead 1million Gazans worth it to find out that the world's population will not help them and the 2BN muslims can't be bothered?
